All flights are wind- and weather-permitting. They are subject to availability and at least a 48-hour advance reservation is required. Your booking will be confirmed by submitting a credit card number as guarantee.
If the Pilot has to cancel due to wind and/or weather, your flight will be rescheduled to the next mutually convenient day.

No flight, no charge. If you cancel within one week, a cancellation charge of 25% of the total will be required. If, at your scheduled time to fly, you are no-call, no-show, your credit card will be charged in full. If you pay cash you will have 5% discount. Children minimum 10 years of age.

I costi sono di 240.00 € per ogni passeggero con Chianti breakfast. Oltre 8 passeggeri su preventivo. Il volo per chi è in luna di miele ha un costo di 850.00 € con mongolfiera riservata solo per due.

Tutti i voli sono soggetti a condizioni meteo. E' necessario prenotare in anticipo; consideriamo prenotato il volo con un numero di carta di credito a garanzia. Nell'eventualità che il Pilota debba cancellare il volo per vento/condizioni meteo sfavorevoli, il volo verrà rimandato a data da convenire.

Nessun volo, nessun costo. Se il passeggero cancella a meno di una settimana della data del volo, verrà trattenuto il 25% sul totale del costo. Se alla data e ora stabilite il passeggero non si presenta per il volo, sulla carta di credito verrà addebitato il totale del costo. Chi paga in contanti avrà uno sconto del 5%. Bambini minimo 10 anni.

A few tips you need to know to enjoy your hot-air balloon flight:

• Do ensure you are fit to fly, for example you would not be able to fly with heart problems, back problems, if you were pregnant etc. Please check with your doctor & flight operator if you are uncertain if you should fly in a balloon
• Children are allowed to fly over 10 years of age, or with parents written release of liability
• Do wear layers of clothes it is often quite cool in the early mornings in the Tuscan countryside
• Do wear flat and comfortable shoes (waterproof shoes are best as grass is often damp in the early mornings) and we may land in the middle of a huge field
• The Pilot is in charge of the aircraft, please follow his instructions and do listen to the passenger briefing which includes safety information and your landing position requirements
• Do make sure you are on time - the balloon cannot wait for you!

• Do remember that about 80% of all balloon flights end up with the basket lying on it's side - this is perfectly normal

The launch site is situated along the Via del Chianti, 1 km from the village Tavarnelle, next to the ancient Chiostrini spring.

How to get there:

• From the Motorway A1 exit at "Firenze Certosa".
• After the toll gate at the roundabout turn right onto the superstrada "Raccordo Siena- Firenze".
• Take 4th exit signed to San Donato
• Turn right immediately towards Morrocco - Tavarnelle.
• After approx. 2 miles and having passed the few houses of Morrocco, on a downhill straight stretch of road look for a small road on your left between tall trees.
  It is marked by a white square sign with the word Balloon in black.
• Turn left down this lane and after 30 meters you will arrive at the "Chianti Balloon Port".

If you find that you are approaching the first houses of the village Tavarnelle, you have gone too far! Turn round and keep an eye to your right, and you will see the grass field down on your right with the small wooden club house of the "Chianti Balloon Port".
